High School Sports Announcer

Do you have what it takes to be a play-by-play announcer? As WOCO Sales/Sports Director, you’ll be the voice of high school competitions for teams from Oconto, Oconto Falls, Lena, Gillett, Coleman, Suring, and Peshtigo. WOCO covers up to four high school sporting events a week. A Sales/Sports Director covers football, volleyball, basketball, softball, baseball and wrestling.

Radio Advertising Sales

The ideal candidate for Sales/Sports Director is an energetic individual who loves promoting local radio and also has a knack for broadcasting high school sports. The sports director must possess a broad knowledge of high school athletics, a pleasant voice, and an engaging broadcasting style. Additionally, the individual must be comfortable talking to business owners about radio advertising and following sales leads. No experience is necessary.
